February… gone in a flash

February always seems so short. Well, it is the shortest month of the entire year — this year being a leap year, just one more day doesn’t make it feel much longer anyways.

I think February feels short not because of its amount of days but because of just how busy I’ve been. School is hectic. I’ve been without my own computer half the time and required to go to campus a lot to do schoolwork. It adds chunks of 30 minutes here and there, making days a little tighter and eventually adding up into more to do on the weekends and less sleep or recreational activity.

I’m really glad that the month is nearly over. February had some fun in it, but March promises to be excellent. Sure, I’ve got midterms next week; that’ll be fine, it’s just part of the ebb and flow of things. I’ll work even harder the next week getting in the remaining paper proposals and beginning to papers so I don’t have to work so hard during Spring Break, because I am visiting loads of awesome people in Seattle and Vancouver over a ten-day period. It’ll be packed with tons to do and I can’t wait.

Hope this month was kind to you. It wasn’t necessarily unkind to me, just… rough. Let’s hope March is plentiful. But if it holds anywhere near the craziness February did, it’ll go by a blur as well.

Thought I’d leave some love here since there’s no other comments. I read the Forsberg post, and all the others too.

February gone… and now MARCH too! what are we to do? Since all of us can’t have fun in the Pacific Northwest… I’ve been job searching… even went to a job fair on Auraria campus this past week. (Yes, I still have my job– but I want to move on for several reasons).

Obviously Maria was at least as close to as excited as you about Peter’s return. He’s making a difference here and there… apparently last night’s game was really exciting even though we only tuned in in time for the shootout. We will see where they go in the playoffs. MY sport is starting imminently so life is good. :)
